High Peak is literally within an hour to some of New Zealand’s best inland waterways and lakes for brown and rainbow trout fishing and mere minutes from the Rakaia, New Zealand’s best salmon river.

One of the advantages of living on a narrow island is that you’re never far from the coast. High Peak is equally accessible to superb coastal spots for blue cod, grouper, crayfish and numerous other species. For the more serious ocean fisherman, we can arrange big game fishing for swordfish, black and striped marlin and tuna.
